Day One

So after a long, long, long day of waiting for flight delays to end, Erik and I have finally arived in Norway!   We are so happy to be out of the airports.  After ariving to Erik´s friends house at 2 am, we got a few hours sleep before we started our first day. When we woke up and showered, we started walking towards the central station. On our way we stopped at a small grocery store and bought some yummy bread, cheese, salami, and mayo. We then stumbled upon a beautiful park...so we stopped to eat breakfast there. We spent the rest of the day exploring Oslo. We went to the botanical garden, the palace, vigelandsprarken( naked sculpture museum/park), A folk history museum- where the towns folk wore native clothing and were even doing crafts and trades, making bread and lace and farming....the bread was delicious! A viking ship museum, then a place called Von Tiki which has another viking ship typ deal...made out of straw/reeds in fact. We then took the ferry back and got dinner with Johan. :)
